What Travis Kelce Promised Taylor Swift After Her Major Grammys Win

Travis Kelce

Travis Kelce is hoping to make Taylor Swift proud at the upcoming Super Bowl LVIII.

While recently gushing about his pop superstar of a girlfriend, the Kansas City Chiefs player said he hopes to fulfill his end of the deal he made with Swift, who went home with the biggest trophy of the night during the 66th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday.

Swift, 34, received the award for Album of the Year for her album Midnights, and she even made history with the victory, becoming the first person to ever win the prestigious category four times.

After the singer's successful evening at the award show, Kelce said he plans to keep the momentum going and bring home a trophy himself after the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 11.

"She's unbelievable," the tight end, 34, gushed during a Feb. 5 press conference. "She's re-writing the history books herself, and I told her I'd have to hold up my end of the bargain and come home with some hardware too."

Kelce and the Chiefs will be taking on the San Fransisco 49ers during Sunday's big game, taking place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Swift, who is putting on an Eras Tour concert in Tokyo the night before, is likely to travel back to the States to see Kelce play, though she will have to get on a plane after the show if she wants to make it there in time for kickoff, something the Japanese Embassy said is possible.

Kelce was unable to be there to support Swift at the 2024 Grammys on Sunday, Feb. 4, but we already know the "Bejeweled" songstress made him super proud—and now he hopes to return the favor!
