The manager of a pizza joint in Cleveland has revealed the details of Travis Kelce’s order after the NFL star stopped by to grab some grub.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end returned to his hometown this weekend after a reported vacation getaway in the Bahamas with his pop star girlfriend, Taylor Swift. Some fans shared photos of the three-time Super Bowl champion as they saw him making his way around town and posing with people who recognized him.
The 34-year-old football player also posed for a photo at Geraci’s Slice Shop, a restaurant that sells pizza by the pie and by the slice. He mentioned the restaurant late last year during an episode of New Heights, the podcast he co-hosts with his older brother, Jason Kelce.
The shop shared the photo on Instagram on Saturday, March 23. It showed Travis posing next to a payphone inside the shop. A sign above the payphone read, “Talk Pizza to Me.”
Geraci’s caption said that when Travis visits, “you know it’s going to be a touchdown-worthy slice!” The restaurant then added a request for the NFL player. “Next time bring Taylor,” it said before adding a few emojis—including a winking face emoji—to the caption.
The person managing the shop at the time Travis visited told People that the Chiefs player ordered two pizza slices: one pepperoni and one called a Hot Tito. According to Geraci’s menu, the Hot Tito features thick-cut pepperoni, sausage and a spicy honey drizzle.
Geraci’s operating partner, Chelsea Williams, told Cleveland.com that Travis was courteous when he arrived to retrieve his food, which he ordered for takeout.
“If you’re a Cleveland fan or a football fan or even these days a Taylor Swift fan and you see a Travis Kelce sighting, it’s a rare treat,” Williams told the news site.
