USC Might Revoke the Degrees of Alumni Who Got in Through Bribery

USC reportedly might revoke degrees for alumni who got in through the now-infamous college bribery scandal.
Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman were both arrested for their alleged participation in the scheme.
USC could start revoking alumni degrees for people they believe were admitted via the college admissions bribery scandal, a source told TMZ.
When news came out last week that over 50 high-profile parents, including Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman, had been implicated in a fraud scheme to get their kids into top colleges like USC, the school started investigating. A source said USC found eight alumni who they think got admitted through fraud.
They believe all eight of them used the same Athletic Placement Services scheme that Olivia Jade and her sister Bella used. Basically, they were allegedly admitted to the school because they were designated as recruits for sports teams, even though they didn't play those sports.
Per TMZ, one alum has already come forward to "turn himself in," saying that he cheated on the ACT with the help of Rick Singer, the man who orchestrated the whole thing. That alum received a scholarship and played football at the school, even though a source told TMZ that he didn't meet the academic requirements for athletes. USC will reportedly not revoke his degree because he came forward on his own.
USC is working with other "victim schools," to see who was the most impacted by the scandal, and they're also working with the U.S. Attorney and FBI. They hope to have all the cases resolved in 2-3 weeks, per TMZ.
