Anyone who looks at an animal in a shelter can clearly just see how sad they are. Their eyes tell it all. They're scared. They're nervous. They've given up any and all hope they had. We hate seeing them like that, which is why we encourage everyone to adopt, don't shop.

Ugh, they need to add a warning for this video. We weren't expecting our hearts to be torn out completely. The caption isn't wrong - shelter life is hard. And we will never know how hard it truly is. This is just one example of how being in a shelter completely changes an animal. They lose their personalities and all their hope.
