Appleton Area School District: Seeks volunteers to assist AASD Central Media with book stickering/sorting on July 15, 16, 22 and 23 from 8 to 11 a.m. or noon to 3 p.m. Volunteers will assist the district with getting ready for the school year by attaching stickers to book covers and sorting them into sets. Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass: Seeks volunteers to become museum docents. Docents guide tours and help visitors connect with the museum’s collection. Community Clothes Closet: Is looking for Client Shopping Helpers on Mondays, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 6 to 8 p.m. Volunteers greet clients, explain rules, monitor for safety, and keep the floor clean. Must stand and move for the entire shift, have good communication skills, compassion, and patience. Fluency in Spanish or Swahili is helpful, though not required. Minimum age: 18. Junior Achievement of Wisconsin: Urgently seeks volunteers for their JA BizTown Summer Camp from July 15-19. Volunteers will assist counselors and help participants ages 9 to 13 with lessons, activities, and games. Campers will learn economic concepts and work readiness skills the first four days of summer camp, culminating in running JA BizTown on Friday. Shifts are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (flexible). Loaves & Fishes of the Fox Valley: Is seeking volunteers to prepare and distribute meals every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at the St. Therese Activity Center.
