Proctor & Gamble, the parent company behind fave brands like Herbal Essences, Pampers and Tide (to name a few), gets this 2018 truism. Which is why it just added more than 3,500 of its home and beauty products to SmartLabel, a digital platform (online and mobile) where you can easily look up ingredients, certifications and endorsements.
"We know people care about what goes into the products they use every day," explained P&G's chief technology officer, Kathy Fish, "and we want consumers to be informed and confident in their choice to place P&G products in their baskets.” Three cheers for transparency.
