Watch Dr. Pimple Popper Pop a Cyst That Sticks to a Woman's Hair Like Bubble Gum
In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper pops a chunky ear cyst right on a patient’s hairline.
The cyst is so close to the patient's hair that the sticky, chunky contents gets tangled in the strands with each squeeze.
The cyst is likely an epidermoid cyst, which contain a collection of wet dead skin cells and keratin.
In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper—aka dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD—pops a chunky ear cyst right on a patient’s hairline. The precarious location of the cyst means with each squeeze, sticky cyst gunk gets stuck in the patient’s hair. It’s truly like getting bubble gum in your hair as a kid.
In the clip, Dr. Lee makes an incision and squeezes the cyst, forcing out its chunky contents. The only problem is the cyst is right on the patient’s hairline, meaning the goopy gunk keeps getting stuck in her hair. It’s like grotesque bubble gum tangled in her locks.
“Of course you have to have this right on your hairline,” Dr. Lee says to the patient as she picks goop out of the woman's hair. The patient replies, “Of course—but that’s been allowing me to ignore it.”
Dr. Lee then digs deep into the cyst to pull out the cyst’s sac wall, which helps guarantee the cyst will never return again. After stitching the patient up, a good hair washing is in order, stat.
The cyst featured in this disgusting display is likely epidermoid cyst, which contain a collection of wet dead skin cells and keratin. This type of cyst can occur on the face, neck and body, which includes the ear area.
