Watch Taylor Swift's Dad Scott Hand Out Sandwiches Fans at Eras Tour

Taylor Swift; Scott Swift

Leave it to Scott Swift to go into full-on dad mode during daughter Taylor Swift's Eras Tour shows.

Scott, who is consistently seen supporting his superstar daughter at her sold-out concerts around the world, pulled out all of the stops for the fans attending Taylor's first show in Sydney, Australia on Friday, Feb. 23, when he offered members of the crowd a little bite to eat.

In footage from the concert shared to X (formerly Twitter), the 71-year-old proud dad could be seen with a platter of sandwiches, offering them to fans and saying, "Help yourselves."

"Scott swift with the hospitality," one fan wrote in the comments under the wholesome clip, while someone else added, "How nice of you Papa Swift."

"What a sweet person," someone else tweeted, adding, "Like father like daughter."

Some Swifties even came up with reasons as to why Scott decided to hang out sandwiches in the middle of the concert, which definitely isn't something fans usually see him do at Taylor's shows.

While some figured that he was probably handing out leftovers from the VIP tent, others got more creative with their theories, including one fan who wrote, "He knew Taylor was gonna announce [her new song] The Albatross and they needed the strength to cry when the meaning behind it hit them full speed."

"He'll do anything to not watch this part of the show," someone else speculated, referring to Taylor's performance of her song "Vigilante S—t," which is known to be very spicy.

"Just dad out here dadding," another fan added.
