Watch Thomas Rhett Perform Tender New Song, "To the Guys That Date My Girls"
Thomas Rhett is the dad of two young daughters—Ada James and Willa Gray—with a third baby girl on the way. That's a lot of potential suitors down the road.
Rhett wants these gentlemen to know he's got some thoughts he'd like to share with them. Given his penchant for songwriting, he took these sentiments to verse in a new song, which he debuted in Pelham, Alabama last Saturday evening. Played acoustically, "To the Guys That Date My Girls," is a heartfelt ballad dedicated to the future men who pursue his daughters. "I know they won't be young forever / But I'm gonna hold on as long as I can / When you take their hand remember, you're holding my whole world / Just a friendly reminder to the guys that date my girls," Rhett croons in the chorus, his smooth baritone quieting the amphitheater.
