Labor Day is around the corner, which means summer is coming to a close.

And Cincinnati always closes out the season with a bang: Riverfest and the Western & Southern WEBN Fireworks.

Riverfest is an all-day affair featuring music, food, entertainment and other family fun ahead of the much-anticipated 30-minute Rozzi Fireworks show on both sides of the Ohio River. True to its name, the fireworks are accompanied by a soundtrack from WEBN. The show will broadcast on Local 12 (WKRC-TV).

When is Riverfest?

The annual celebration takes place from noon-10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, at Sawyer Point and Yeatman's Cove.

Fireworks launch from the Ohio River on Sept. 1 starting at 9 p.m.

When is Labor Day?

This year's annual Labor Day is Monday, Sept. 2, 2024. Each year, Labor Day falls on the first Monday in September, according to the U.S. Department of Commerce.
