Wendy's Reportedly Releasing Pumpkin Spice-Flavored Menu Items for Fall

Word on the street is… Wendy’s is getting in the fall spirit.

As fans eagerly anticipate the return of pumpkin-flavored everything, the franchise is giving them something especially sweet to look forward to.

Food blogger Markie_Devo put it on good authority that the fast food chain specializing in burgers is gearing up to launch a limited-time-only Pumpkin Spice Frosty this September.

And that’s not all, as a Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew is also set to accompany the frosty treat.

“Wendy’s wants to set off the fall mood with this new Pumpkin Spice flavor. The Vanilla Frosty will act as the base alongside the new Pumpkin mix for this baddie,” the account notes in the description.

”When the Strawberry Frosty runs out, locations will start the Pumpkin Spice Frosty(so some may have the Frosty earlier than others),” the account teased before revealing the official launch date as September 12 nationwide at participating Wendy’s locations.

Someone claiming to be an employee also chimed in on a Reddit thread confirming the duo’s arrival by their GM.

Parade reached out to Wendy’s for a comment but has yet to hear back.

Comments on the post ranged from excited to thankful, while others expressed their desire for the Caramel Apple Frosty—which previously debuted in Canada—to arrive stateside, though there’s nothing in the works as of right now.

Wendy's is clearly just getting in on the fun as everything is getting the pumpkin spice treatment ahead of spooky season, plus, they’ve already proven that they will celebrate the holidays with limited-time Frosty flavors by previously unveiling the Peppermint Frosty, which marked the first-ever holiday flavor for the brand and the third new Frosty Flavor in the past 16 years.

The Peppermint Frosty joined the classic Chocolate flavor, which was introduced in 1969 when Wendy’s first began operating and remains a staple to this day. The Vanilla Frosty, another fan-favorite, was added in 2006, and the most recent, the Strawberry Frosty, temporarily replaced it this summer.
