Who Went Home and Who Made It Through Night Two of the Playoffs on 'The Voice' Season 24
Tom Nitti, Jordan Rainer, Ruby Leigh, Reba McEntire, Noah Spencer, Jacquie Roar
The Playoffs continued on Monday night on season 24 of The Voice when Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani put their teams through a sing off and then had to whittle their teams down to three.
The original five members that made it through the Knockouts on Team Reba were Tom Nitti, Jordan Rainer, Ruby Leigh, Noah Spencer, and Jacquie Roar – and then her Super Save was Ms. Monét. But Tom had to leave the competition due to personal reasons, so Reba only had five artists, making her job a tiny bit easier.
“It was an undeniable decision I had to make,” Reba says of bringing Ms. Monét back as her Super Save. “They were just too good. They had to come back.”
Gwen, on the other hand, had the full six: Kara Tenae, Stee, Rudi, BIAS and Tanner Massey and her Super Save Leonard VanderDoes.
“My Super Save was so unique, I had to bring him back to Team Gwen,” she said. “Lennon is this singer/songwriter that has this very unique tone.”
The winners of the Playoffs will move on to the Live Shows, which will begin on Monday December 4.

Here’s how the night played out:
TEAM REBA
Jordan Rainer
Song: “Boondocks” by Little Big Town
Reba said: “So proud. You represent Southeastern Oklahoma so well with your humor, your great attitude, your look, your talent, your versatility.”
Ms. Monét (Super Save)
Song: “Until You Come Back to Me” by Aretha Franklin
Reba said: “To watch you walk on the stage, I was just so proud to know you. You have so much to teach all of us. I’m just tickled to pieces that you’re back and on my team. I loved your performance. It was just absolutely beautiful.”
Jacquie Roar
Song: “The Chain” by Fleetwood Mac
Reba said: “I was drawn into a knot when you started walking up the stairs and then started singing that one song right on pitch. You went from that big, big note, back to this [indicates smaller], which is very hard to do. Nailed it. Jacquie has grown so much. I was so proud of her performance. She brought her A-game.”
Noah Spencer
Song: “Jolene” by Ray Lamontagne
Reba said: “Noah, Noah, Noah, you turned it up from zero to ten from rehearsals. Oh, my gosh, which makes it even tougher for me because I only get to choose three people, but my gosh. What a performance. I’m so proud of you.”
Ruby Leigh
Song: “Long Long Time” by Linda Ronstadt
Reba said: “Ruby, way to go. I’m so proud of you. I would watch mama when I was up on stage and she would just be drawn up into a knot watching me. Nobody wanted to sit next to mama because she would be squeezing their hand so tight. I know how she feels now. You just got it all together. Your performance today was stellar.”

Then it was decision time. The three artists that Reba selected were:
Jordan Rainer
Reba said: “Jordan deserves to be on the Live Shows. From the very first moment she stepped onto this stage singing ‘Fancy,’ I knew. America is going to fall in love with Jordan as we all have.”
Jacquie Roar
Reba said: “Jacquie came on tonight. What excites me about Jacquie and the Live Shows is she’s a show dog. She’s going to be a contender.”
Ruby Leigh
Reba said: “There’s nobody like Ruby in the competition. She’s got that real sweet emotional cry in her voice that rips my heart. She’s bringing something I’ve never seen on The Voice before.”

TEAM GWEN
Stee
Song: “Shut Up and Dance” by Walk the Moon
Gwen said: “I can’t believe I got you. I stole you from John Legend. I was shocked when it happened. This song is harder to do than a ballad, it’s harder to do than a rock song. We worked on trying to unpolish you a little bit, to work on that other side of you, a little more edgier side. I saw that in that performance tonight. I really loved working with you. You did a great job tonight. What I love about Stee’s voice is he has wide range.”
BIAS
Song: “Where I Find God” by Larry Fleet
Gwen said: “I just saw something in you from the beginning of the Blinds. Your originality is so pure and the way you did it tonight was absolutely perfect. I just feel so honored and proud of you and excited for you. And your moustache is so cute.”
Rudi
Song: “My All/Mi Todo” by Mariah Carey
Gwen said: “I could imagine you on a record. Your style of singing because it’s so intricate, you do so many things with your voice. Your gift to be able to interpret lyrics and your emotion and your presence on stage, your beauty, I just think you’re so great. You did a beautiful job tonight. You could do any song. You could.”

Tanner Massey
Song: “Impossible” by Shontelle
Gwen said: “I wanted to work with you so bad because I actually enjoy working with younger people like you, especially a boy. I have three boys of my own. You’re 19 years old. I’m sad about the beginning. It happens to me all the time. I actually have cues in my ears for certain songs. Literally on stage, it’s like, ‘Turn left. Smile. Say Hollaback Girl.’ You’ve grown a lot before my eyes in a short amount of time and I’m just super proud of you.”
Lennon VanderDoes (Super Save)
Song: “Falling Slowly” by Glen Hansard & Markéta Irglová
Gwen said: “I Super Saved you. You didn’t let me down. The whole performance was beautiful. I liked getting to know you in rehearsals and watching you work your way through this song. It is just again an amazing, beautiful, artistic performance.”
Kara Tenae
Song: “Rain” by SWV
Gwen said: “It’s been fun working with Kara because she’s so humble and eager to learn. Even vocally, your voice has gotten warmer. You have a little bit of rasp. I don’t think people understand how hard it is to be that in control of your voice and move onstage at the same time. That is pro stuff, real pro stuff."
Then it was decision time. The three artists that Gwen selected were:
BIAS
Gwen said: “I think BIAS is so authentic and knows who he is. He’s an amazing singer. I think he’s country and country and country.”

Kara Tenae
Gwen said: “I picked Kara because she really knows how to handle the stage. She knows what songs suit her and she seems ready for that moment.”
Tanner Massey
Gwen said: “Tanner has so much range. He has so much power. Being able to help him grow as an artist is something I thrive off of. I had to put him into the Lives and see what he can do.”
The Voice returns on Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC for the final night of Playoffs with Team Legend.
