Halloween Haunt, WinterFest coming soon to Kings Island
To end its 2024 season, Kings Island is rolling out the frights with Halloween Haunt and the lights at WinterFest.
Halloween Haunt, voted 2022's "Best Theme Park Halloween Event" in the country by USA TODAY readers, will be held from Sept. 20 to Nov. 2. The event transforms the park into bone-chilling scare mazes and scare zones with sinister live entertainment and hundreds of horrifying creatures waiting for you. It is not recommended for anyone under age 13.
On the family-friendly side of Halloween is Tricks and Treats, held on select days from Sept. 22 to Nov. 3. The fall festival for all ages features "spooktacular" activities, trick-or-treating, live shows, thrilling rides, a costume contest and seasonal food and drinks.
To end the year, the park will hold WinterFest through the month of December. The event features more than seven million lights, ice skating on the Royal Fountain, entertainment, festive attractions, holiday shopping and seasonal treats. Each night begins with a lighting ceremony that transforms the Eiffel Tower into a 314-foot-tall Christmas tree.
