Does Danny DeVito have a booking for season three of The White Lotus?

Fans are certainly convinced after a Reddit user, named shawnmd, shared pictures of DeVito having dinner with the show's creator Mike White on the r/TheWhiteLotusHBO subreddit on March 23.

He wrote, "Was at dinner in West Hollywood last week and saw Mike White dining with someone 'big' (name in comments). Coincidence or Season 3 prep? Thought this sub would be curious. (Sorry for the poor quality, I was trying to be sneaky)."

While seeing DeVito bring his It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia energy to the HBO show would definitely make up for Jennifer Coolidge's absence, there's a chance DeVito and White were just hanging out as friends. As some of the replies pointed out, White is a celebrity and has famous friends.

Redditor cssblondie wrote, "Cool but also wouldn’t read tons into who famous folks and show runners dine with necessarily — could be just friendly, could be different project, could be show related. But I think one truism of LA and Hollywood is that all the famous people hang out in some form or another."

Redditor cblackattack1 added, "I think everyone should remember that Mike White is a Hollywood name and knows a ton of celebrities and will go on big vacations. Not everything he does is White Lotus related. That’s not to say that I wouldn’t enjoy seeing DeVito in a future WL season. But let the man live lol."

Of course, we can't blame fans for speculating, as specific details of the next season of The White Lotus haven't been shared yet. However, the location of the next season has certainly been teased.

In an interview with Vulture, Johnny Knoxville, who is friends with White, spilled that he thinks the next season will be in Japan, which White had hinted at in previous interviews. The Jackass star also expressed his desire at being on the show.

If DeVito and Knoxville end up starring in the third season, it might be the most hilariously chaotic one yet.
