Wilmer Valderrama Explains How He Transformed Himself from Fez to 'NCIS' Star

Wilmer Valderrama is currently starring as Nick Torres on NCIS, but to his fans of a certain age, he'll forever be the lovable foreign exchange student, Fez, from That '70s Show. The series ran for eight years and it currently lives on in reruns, so it's no wonder that when Valderrama sat down for a "Wilmer Valderrama vs The Internet" video with us, he got a bunch of questions about his former character.
But if you were ever wondering just exactly where Valderrama's Fez was from, the actor is sorry to report that that detail was never quite defined in the script. However, Valderrama explained that he thought that the foreign exchange student might have from Canada, or an alien, which is a hypothesis we don't disagree with.

Valderrama also revealed that he's been training in mixed martial arts for about 11 years, and he says it's made him more disciplined. But when asked about what he eats to get so fit, he explained that "sometimes it's what you don't eat that keeps you fit."
When one fan asked him for advice with weight lifting, Valderrama immediately responded with a warning: "Never go heavy. There's no reason to really go heavy unless you're trying to sculpt or bodybuild. Work on form and mechanics."

Valderrama also got quite a lot of thirst comments and questions, and one very interesting user commented on one of his photos saying, "Ahh kill me, you're so hot I want to die." The actor hilariously responded, "Well that's unfortunate, there's so much to live for. If anything, we should toast to that."
