'I was offended': Woman claims mechanic told her to lift up shirt in exchange for discount
A Missouri woman is “offended” after she says a local auto shop employee sexually harassed her by offering her a discount if she agreed to lift her shirt up for him.
Kintraella Huntley was at Quick Stop Auto Shop in Ferguson, Mo. on Thursday to have her car fixed. In an interview with KSDK, she said it had been her giving trouble and releasing smoke.

"They got a mechanic to come and get in the car with me so that he can ride it up and down the street to see what it was doing,” she told the St. Louis news station.
However, Huntley claims that he made an “indecent proposal” while they were in the car together.
"He said ‘Look, if you pull up your shirt and show me your breasts, then I will go ahead and knock the price down,’" she told KSDK.
KSDK reported that she quickly shot down his offer and called the police as soon as they were back at the store.
“I was offended,” she said.
Though Quick Stop Auto Shop did not immediately respond to Yahoo Lifestyle’s request for comment, the owner of the store told the KSDK that the police had been over to investigate. However, the owner does not believe the allegations are true and said that the mechanic doesn’t speak English and would have been unable to speak with the customer.
However, Huntley denied this to KSDK and said that while he did have an accent, his message was clear.
"I understood every word he said," Huntley told the St. Louis news station. "What he pretends in front of them is totally not what he said to me. I totally heard what he said. He told me to lift my shirt and show my body.”
Huntley did not immediately respond to Yahoo Lifestyle’s request for comment but told KSDK that she plans to hire a lawyer, and is determined to keep this from happening to another woman.
“It's a shame. When does it stop? When do we get our respect?" she said.
Ferguson Police Department did not immediately respond to Yahoo Lifestyle’s request for comment.
