Woman's spray tan mistake is a walking advertisement for Adidas
A woman who wanted a spray tan wound up with an Adidas-shaped logo when she underestimated the drying time.
Eve Mallon, from Falkirk, Scotland, shared her cautionary tale on Twitter with a photo of her leg imprinted with the Adidas logo. “That’s the last time a work out with tan on btw ahahah,” she tweeted Oct. 1 to her 1,700 followers.

Mallon did not return Yahoo Lifestyle’s request for comment, but it’s likely that she was wearing fitted workout pants after the spray tanning session. “With traditional self-tanners, the rule is not to exercise, sweat, get wet, or wear excessively tight clothing for at least eight hours,” Sophie Evans, St. Tropez skin finishing expert, tells Yahoo Lifestyle.
Evans speculates that Mallon put on leggings quickly after applying the tanner, causing the stitching on the fabric to cling to the substance and remove it from the skin.
“There are faster-developing self tanners that allow you to shower and exercise after just one hour, which this woman may have used,” she says. “However, from looking at the photo, it’s unlikely.”
