Wynonna Judd Shares Health Update After Missing New Year's Eve Performance

The country singer was supposed to go on stage with Kelsea Ballerini.

Wynonna Judd was scheduled to go on stage in Nashville, Tennessee, on New Year's Eve to perform with Kelsea Ballerini, but things didn't go according to plan and her appearance was canceled last minute.

Judd took to social media to explain what happened and apologize for missing the performance late last night.

She posted a photo of herself and Ballerini looking at the stage getting set up earlier, with a health update included in the caption.

The 58-year-old wrote, "I was looking so forward to singing with my dear @kelseaballerini tonight. Instead, I am on the bus struggling with an extreme bout of vertigo, and am unable to perform."

She continued with a personal apology to Nashville: "😢💔 Nashville, I am absolutely heartbroken and so sorry to have let you all down tonight. Kelsea, I look forward to stepping onstage with you in February, better than ever!!!!"

Many of Judd's fans were simply happy to hear from the singer and wished her well, with plenty of comments consisting of heartfelt messages like, "We all hope you feel better❤️"

"You haven’t let anyone down. We are here for you, we love you, and we want you to put yourself first! Please take care, so you can keep shining a bright light in this dark world! ❤️&🙏🏻," wrote one fan.

Judd is going on tour in January and February for The Judds: The Final Tour, in honor of her mother, Naomi Judd. The mother-daughter duo performed together as The Judds for years, until Naomi died earlier this year.

Ballerini will join Judd for three of her February dates, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kansas City, Missouri, and St. Louis, Missouri.

The tour started in September 2022, and will finish up at the end of February 2023. Other guests include Little Big Town, Ashley McBryde, and Brandi Carlile.
