Here’s Everything You Need to Know About Gradient, That Popular Celebrity Lookalike App
Curious to know how everyone is figuring out who their celebrity lookalike is?
Look no further— it's called Gradient, and you can download it below!
You've seen it online. The Kardashian and Jenner girls are doing it. It's all over your Instagram feed. If you have a cell phone, chances are you've heard of or have seen people using this new thing called Gradient, a trendy new app for iPhones and Androids that magically allows you to figure out which celebrity is your doppleg?nger. It all sounds like harmless good fun, doesn't it?
After a bunch of celebrities like Kylie Jenner, Scott Disick, and Kourtney Kardashian started posting #ads about Gradient, the app quickly went viral. Sounds familiar? You're totally not imagining that—FaceApp, the other facial recognition app that went viral over the summer, told everyone and their mother what they'd look like as an old person. FaceApp had thousands of fans too...until people realized the app was storing user pictures without permission. Er, yikes!
So is Gradient just another FaceApp, and should you tread lightly before using it? Below, everything you need to know about this crazy, dystopian phenomenon.
Do I really look like these guys?! Come on ?? #gradient #gradientpartner

If you're really intrigued by Gradient and want to jump right in and use it straight away, the app is available for iPhone and Android users. The app has a free three-day trial, so you better delete that sh*t right after because it'll charge you $20 A MONTH if you don't! You can download it below.
Given all the drama that FaceApp encountered, skeptics are worried about how safe Gradient actually is. The app's terms of service says "You hereby grant to Gradient a non-exclusive, fully-paid and royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use Your Content to provide our Service," meaning that it realistically can store or use your data without your permission! Please use that information wisely.
Hey y'all, I know we have short memories but maybe just do a cursory Google search before using that new face app #Gradient. It's shady as hell. The information in this thread took me 10 minutes to round up.

It seems like the gradient app is trending I just hope everyone remembers that literally every single time these face scan apps become popular it’s revealed they’re owned by Russians or the Chinese using them to collect more people’s information, most likely for identity theft.

That aside, enjoy toying around with the app to see if you look like Selena Gomez or not!
