See 'Mission: Impossible' Star Tom Cruise Describe the High-Flying Insanity of His 'Rogue Nation' Airplane Stunt

It wouldn’t be a Tom Cruise movie if his stunt double was doing all the work. Still, Cruise totally topped himself by daring to dangle off an airplane as it took off.

Yes, as the video above illustrates, that is really Cruise hanging off the side of a plane while filming a stunt for Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation (in theaters July 31).

But perhaps more scary is seeing his production assistant insert what is presumably a contact lens directly onto his eyeball with a device reminiscent of one seen in Stanley Kubrick’s Clockwork Orange.
