Carrie Underwood, Jessie James Decker, and more stars on the CMA red carpet
Carrie Underwood
For the 10th year in a row, Underwood hosted the event alongside Brad Paisley. The singer had multiple outfit changes, but she turned it out with her first ensemble, in a deep shade of purple. Jessie James Decker
Pregnant with her third child, Decker admitted to the ladies of the Morning Breath that her threshold for events of this kind is pretty low, despite her enthusiasm for the performers. “I might stay half the show, but I definitely won’t stay the whole way through.” She said she would get hungry and need to take her shoes off. It was the 10th year in a row that Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley have co-hosted the Country Music Awards, but Wednesday night’s show was anything but predictable.
From the highly anticipated performances (Maren Morris collaborating with Niall Horan, Reba McEntire, Kelsea Ballerini, Pink, and more) to the incredible fashions on the red carpet, the biggest names in country music came together for a rockin’ night. Well, except for one singer who said she might have to head out early.
Pregnant with her third child, Jessie James Decker told the Morning Breath, “I might stay half the show, but I definitely won’t stay the whole way through.” Why? The 29-year-old hilariously admitted that she’d get hungry and would need to take off her shoes.
