See Willam UnRuPaulogetically Perform at Yahoo Music
Willam is probably the most notorious figure in RuPaul’s Drag Race herstory. The Season 4 rabblerouser was the first and only contestant to be disqualified from the series, but she didn’t sashay away quietly. Instead, she went on to live in infamy on YouTube. The Weird Al of drag, her hilarious, filthy parody music videos like “Boy Is a Bottom,” “Chow Down (at Chick-fil-A),” and “RuPaulogize” have racked up millions of views.
But Willam doesn’t just lip-synch for her life. A veteran of the Hollywood glam and punk scenes, she’s a legit vocalist, part of an elite and tiny Drag Race group that includes singing ex-contestants Adore Delano, Courtney Act, and Jinkx Monsoon. And with her new album of originals, Shartistry in Motion (available on iTunes June 2), Willam is set to take her rock ‘n’ roll comedy to the next level.
