One dead, two injured in Marrero triple shooting
MARRERO, La. (WGNO) — One man is dead and two are wounded following a triple shooting that happened at a Marrero home in the early morning hours of Saturday, Aug. 31.
According to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, just after 3:30 a.m., deputies were called to the 1100 block of Candlelight Drive. Upon arrival, they found three men who had been shot. One of the men was declared dead at the scene and the other two were taken to a local hospital.
Circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
The identity of the man who was killed is being withheld until his next of kin have been notified.
