News 5 has learned that the four suspects were arrested after the overdose death of a female that reportedly happened Saturday night in Orange Beach.

Authorities say all the suspects were arrested together after they were found in a car stopped just south of Fairhope.

The bond hearing of Anderson,  Hayek, Decautur and Benson was the first case prosecuted under a law that went into effect in April that creates mandatory minimums for fentanyl dealers, according to officials.

The suspects now face the following penalties, officials said.

Anderson:

  • $100,000 bond, GPS house arrest, and drug testing

  • He was out on bond from a previous arrest; a hearing for his bond revocation has been set

Hayek:

  • $100,000 for manslaughter

  • $10,000 for possession

  • $500 for paraphernalia

  • $500 for tampering with evidence

Decautur:

  • $50,000 for manslaughter

  • GPS house arrest

  • Drug testing

Benson:

  • $100,000 for manslaughter

  • $5,000 for distribution

  • $10,000 for possession of fentanyl

  • $500 for paraphernalia
