8 former Titans named to Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025 nominee list
Eight former Tennessee Titans players were named to the Pro Football Hall of Fame's initial list of 167 candidates for the Class of 2025 on Wednesday.
Former Titans tight end Delanie Walker is a first-time nominee and joins former Titans Steve McNair, Eddie George, Chris Johnson, Lorenzo Neal, Derrick Mason, Samari Rolle and Gary Anderson.
The Modern Era candidate list will be shortened to 50 players, then to 25 semifinalists and finally to 15 finalists to be presented before the vote for the class which will take place prior to the Super Bowl.
George was a Semifinalist in 2022 and 2024.
Former Titans coach Mike Vrabel has also been named to the initial list of nominees.
Notable first-year nominees include Eli Manning, Luke Kuechly, Terrell Suggs, Marshawn Lynch and Adam Vinatieri.
The 10 finalists who missed out on induction in the Class of 2024 earlier this year include Fred Taylor, Torry Holt, Reggie Wayne, Antonio Gates, Jahri Evans, Willie Anderson, Jared Allen, Darren Woodson, Eric Allen and Rodney Harrison.
