Albuquerque Fire Rescue truck struck by vehicle while on scene of crash
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating two crashes in the Foothills with the second involving a fire truck that was responding to the first crash. Albuquerque Fire Rescue said they were assisting with a collision at Tramway and Montgomery when another vehicle struck a fire engine on the scene.

According to a criminal complaint, the driver, Isabella Hayney, refused medical care but smelled of alcohol and did poorly in sobriety tests. Her citation said her breath test came back at .14.
No emergency crews were injured in the crash. A person from the initial collision was taken to the hospital.
The fire truck will likely be out of service for six to eight months.
