Beginning in November, travelers will be able to choose from two new routes from Wilmington International Airport.

As part of Avelo Airlines' largest expansion in company history, the airline announced in a news release the launch of the exclusive nonstop service this fall. The airline is also celebrating flying over 100,000 customers at ILM.

What new destinations will Avelo serve from ILM?

One flight will serve Fort Myers, Florida, and one will serve Hartford, Connecticut.

When will the flights begin?

Beginning on Nov. 7, the airline will operate both routes twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays, using Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft. Avelo is the only airline offering nonstop service between ILM and the two destinations.

"Since the start of service at ILM just over two years ago, Avelo has continued to introduce travelers in the Wilmington area to a new era of affordability, convenience and industry-leading reliability," said Avelo Airlines Founder and CEO Andrew Levy said, according to the release.

How much will the flights cost?

When it comes to cost, one-way fares from ILM will start at $62 and travelers can make reservations at AveloAir.com.

What other flights does Avelo at ILM?

With the addition of Fort Myers (RSW) and Hartford (BDL), Avelo will also serve eight nonstop destinations from ILM. These destinations include Southern Connecticut's Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN), Washington, D.C./Baltimore (BWI), Philadelphia/Delaware Valley (ILG), Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Orlando (MCO) and Tampa (TPA).
