Baldwin EMC reports power outage at West Beach in Gulf Shores

GULF SHORES, Ala. (WKRG) — Officials with Baldwin EMC said they are dealing with a power outage that is affecting 1,900 meters on West Beach in Gulf Shores.

According to Baldwin EMC Vice President of Corporate Services and Public Relations Mark Ingram, damage to a transformer is the cause of the outage.

A Baldwin EMC Facebook post said crews are working to restore power “as safely and quickly as possible.”
