Photographs from the Associated Press show the extent of the destruction to the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Md., after a cargo ship crashed into it early Tuesday morning, causing it to collapse.
Eight workers fell into the water. Two were rescued, but six remain missing and are presumed dead. Authorities suspended the search mission Tuesday evening and planned to resume recovery efforts again Wednesday morning.
