Boil water advisory lifted in Grand Isle

GRAND ISLE, La. (WGNO) — The boil water advisory in Grand Isle, issued on Sunday, July 7, has been lifted following an analysis of bacteriological samples taken on Tuesday, July 9.

According to Jefferson Parish officials, the Jefferson Parish Water Department, in conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Health, has lifted the advisory and declared that customers in the affected area can now use their water without boiling or disinfecting it.

They further added that no more precautionary actions are necessary.
