Broadway in Hawaii announces 2025 shows

HONOLULU (KHON2) – Broadway fans, get excited! You won’t have to go all the way to the Big Apple to see a show because three Tony Award-winning shows are coming to the Blaisdell Concert Hall next year.

“Tina: The Tina Turner Muscial” will have a one week run from April 22-27, 2025.
“Six: The Musical” will run form June 17-29, 2025.
And “Chicago” will show from December 2-7, 2025.

We spoke to Broadway Producer Kevin McCollum and asked why live theatre is so important to our community.

HTA debuting new initiatives for regenerative tourism

“The real destination is gathering people. That’s how you build community, that’s how you actually create social change and economic opportunities. Because when you gather and you tell each other stories, you build your family. And that’s why live theatre is the most important art form we have,” said McCollum.
