Broadway Performers Gather in Times Square to Pay Tribute to Stephen Sondheim
Broadway performers gathered in Times Square on November 28 to pay tribute to the late composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim, who died on November 26 at the age of 91.
Performers included Lin-Manuel Miranda, Raúl Esparza, Sara Bareilles, Stephen Schwartz, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Laura Benanti, and Josh Groban, Time Out reported.
Sondheim was known for iconic Broadway hits such as West Side Story, Sweeney Todd, Into the Woods, and many more.
