‘End it all’: Browns rookie charged following domestic violence incident in Avon

AVON, Ohio (WJW) — Avon police are investigating domestic violence allegations involving a rookie Cleveland Browns player Monday night.

Defensive tackle Michael Hall Jr. was booked at the Avon Police Station Tuesday morning. He has officially been charged with domestic violence.

According to a police report obtained by FOX 8, officers were told an argument between Hall and his fiancée began over finances regarding a dental procedure for her 11-month-old. But things quickly escalated.

Hall allegedly pressed a gun against the woman’s temple and threatened, “I will [expletive] end it all. I don’t care,” the report said.

The victim’s mother also witnessed Hall allegedly “…strike [her] on the head with a baby bottle, drag her outside by her arms, choke her by the neck, push her head through a wall…”

Tuesday morning, a Cleveland Browns spokesperson released the following statement regarding the news:

“We are aware of the incident involving Mike Hall, Jr. last night. Mike and his representatives have been in touch with the appropriate authorities. We are in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment at the time.”

Hall’s being represented by attorney Kevin Spellacy and bonded out of jail Tuesday. Bond was set at $10,000. He’s due back in court in 30 days.

Hall, 21, was formerly a player for the Ohio State University and played high school football in Streetsboro. He was selected 54th overall in the 2024 NFL Draft.
