Chappell Roan to perform on Saturday Night Live
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Local superstar Chappell Roan’s fame continues to grow as she’s now secured a guest spot on “Saturday Night Live.”
NBC announced their first slate of shows for “SNL’s” 50th season on Wednesday, and the Willard native was revealed as one of this season’s musical guests.

Roan will perform on “SNL” on Nov. 2. “SNL” alum John Mulaney will be hosting that night.
The Midwest star has seen lots of success in the last few months, winning “Best New Artist” at the 2024 VMAs and scoring a top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with her song “Good Luck, Babe!” Her music video for “HOT TO GO!” — highlighting some of Springfield’s most famous landmarks — has over 20 million views on YouTube.
The 50th season of “Saturday Night Live” kicks off on September 28 on NBC.
