Cleveland Clinic named #1 heart hospital for 30th consecutive year

CLEVELAND (WJW) – For the 30th year in a row, the U.S. News and World Report has named the Cleveland Clinic as the top hospital for cardiology, heart and vascular surgery.

According to the annual rankings, the Cleveland Clinic was also placed on the Best Hospitals Honor Roll, which is a distinction that is awarded to only 20 hospitals nationwide.

As one of the largest integrated heart centers in the world, Cleveland Clinic has long been recognized as a global leader in cardiovascular care.

Cleveland Clinic is also one of the nation’s highest-volume cardiac cervical centers, performing over 5,600 heart surgeries in 2023 alone.

University Hospitals also ranked third nationally on specialties, including cancer, neurology and ear, nose and throat.
