Cuteness overload: Jay Chou’s 5-year-old son Romeo shines in his music video ‘debut’ via ‘Pink Ocean’

Jay Chou’s adorable 5-year-old son Romeo made his music video debut in style via “Pink Ocean (粉色海洋).”

Fans of Taiwan’s “King of Mandopop” might have already suspected that the boy would appear in the video as his voice can be heard at the beginning of the song.

However, what many viewers probably did not expect to see was Romeo sharing an equal amount of screen time with his father in the video.

Released on Aug. 15, the video features Romeo wearing sunglasses and enjoying the beaches of Australia, where the video was filmed.

Scenes of the boy strolling along the coasts of Rottnest Island are interspersed with clips of his father dancing and singing in the same beautiful scenery. Like his father, Romeo also exudes coolness as he strums his ukulele.

Romeo was previously discovered to be musically inclined like his father after his mother, 29-year-old actor Hannah Quinlivan, found him drawing musical notes earlier this year.

Also featured in the music video are cute quokkas, tiny mammals native to Rottnest Island which the Taiwanese artist interacts with in some scenes.
