Who is Dana Bash? What to know about the moderator ahead of the June Presidential Debate
Muted microphones, an empty audience, and CNN moderators Dana Bash and Jake Tapper will be key parts of the first presidential debate Thursday.
The showdown between President Joe Biden and former president Donald Trump is scheduled for June 27 at 9 p.m. ET at CNN's studio in Atlanta. With Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. officially failing to qualify, it is shaping up to be a rematch of the 2020 debates.
The two candidates ditched the Commission on Presidential Debates this year, opting for fewer and earlier debates so far. Another debate is scheduled for Sept. 10 hosted by ABC.
