With Democrats in 'disarray,' Lara Trump says Republicans have never been more united
Republican National Committee co-chair Lara Trump said the GOP has never been more united while the Democratic party is “fractured” and in “disarray” in an interview on “Fox & Friends” Tuesday.
Trump’s appearance comes on a pivotal day for President Joe Biden as he meets with NATO leaders while members of his party discuss calls for him to step down as the Democratic nominee. Biden has affirmed he intends to stay in the 2024 race, despite growing pressure for him to step aside after his debate performance June 27 and sinking poll numbers.
“You have never seen a more united Republican party than we have right now, and it is in stark contrast to what is going on on the other side of the aisle,” Trump told Fox News host Ainsley Earhardt. “They are fractured. They are in disarray on the Democrats' side of the aisle, talking about whether they have to get rid of Joe Biden.”

Former President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law was appointed to the RNC in February. On Tuesday, she previewed next week’s schedule for the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. She also confirmed that Trump’s vice-presidential pick will speak at the convention before he accepts the party’s nomination.
“Tune into the rallies this week,” she said when asked about who his running mate will be, “Maybe you will get some hints there.”
