NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — We have a couple more days of isolated shower and thunderstorm activity during our afternoons before mostly sunny days arrive. Winds will be calm out of the NW today with partly cloudy skies and highs in the mid-80s. Isolated showers develop, mainly near the coast, during the afternoon. By early evening, most activity should quiet down. Lows drop to the lower 70s tonight with only a slight, 10% or less, chance of showers remaining.
Tomorrow’s forecast is very similar with highs in the middle 80s once again. Partly cloudy skies with an isolated chance for showers, and thunderstorms. Wednesday – This is the day we have been waiting for! Sunshine through and through your day. Highs in the mid-80s with clear skies overnight. High pressure starts nudging into our area throughout the end of the week. This will limit rain chances and slightly drop our humidity levels through Saturday.
