Everyone Got Naked This Awards Season & We Liked It

So many factors go into picking an outfit for the red carpet. And lately the stars are definitely feeling that less is more. From the Golden Globes to the Grammys to the Oscars, celebrities have been opting for revealing dresses for the big ceremonies and the parties afterward. There has been an uptick in couture gowns with cutouts, sheer panels, and peekaboo lace. Some of the stand out ensembles have included Rosamund Pike in Vera Wang, Kate Hudson in Atelier Versace, and Madonna flashing her booty to the masses in her Givenchy. At the Vanity Fair Oscar party, neither Irina Shayk nor Gigi Hadid left much to the imagination in similar mesh Atelier Versace black dresses that definitely warranted going commando. At this rate, the next foreseeable trend will be walking the carpet in the nude. (Oscars host Neil Patrick Harris came close in his tighty whities during the ceremony.)
