Faizon Love Says He’s “Confused” By Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Arrest
Faizon Love took to social media to express his thoughts after Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested on allegations of sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, and other crimes. In a clip reposted by The Shade Room, the actor did not agree with some of the actions being labeled criminal behavior.
“We all heard about Puffy and I see a lot of people… yeah yeah yeah… I’m confused,” he began.
“The Cassie [Ventura] thing, I understand. I think we should definitely lock this ni**a up [for] putting his hands on a young lady but I don’t understand the other sh*t. Can yall help me? When has being nasty been a federal crime? And I’m glad they told me. I didn’t know there was a limit on baby oil.”
His comments refer to a troubling video released earlier this year, showing Combs violently assaulting Ventura in 2016. Additionally, he notes the indictment against Combs revealed, “They seized cases and cases of the kinds of personal lubricant and baby oil that Combs staff allegedly used to stock hotel rooms for the freak offs, more than 1000 bottles altogether.”
Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo claims his client knew he would be taken into custody on criminal charges.
“He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal,” Agnifilo added. “To his credit, Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”
Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges and will not be granted bail.
