Fallout season 2 casts Macaulay Culkin in new role
Fallout has cast Macaulay Culkin for its second season.
The Prime Video adaptation of the post-apocalyptic video game series debuted earlier this year to huge critical and viewer success.
As work gets underway on season 2, Deadline reports that the Home Alone star has joined the cast as a crazy, genius-type recurring character โ though further details remain under wraps.

Fallout focuses on Lucy (Ella Purnell) in the aftermath of a nuclear apocalypse as she leaves her bunker of Vault 33 into the Wasteland.
While details on season 2's synopsis are unclear at the moment, some of the show's stars previously spoke about where they would like to see the series go.
Meanwhile, earlier this year creator Todd Howard spoke to Digital Spy about wanting to tell an "original story" with the series as compared to its source material.
"The main thing we approached this was to do something new," he explained. "You know, treat it like we do with each game where we want to tell an original story.

"Find some good geography and let's say the main character in all of the Fallout games and everything we've done is the world itself.
"And so being able to work with all of these people [on] a new story [and] thought about what would the next chapter be and moving it forward."
In a five-star review, DS suggested Fallout "could very well end up being the kind of five-star show that people will obsess over in two centuries from now, huddled up in a vault watching old tapes of times gone by as the world burns outside".
"Let's just hope our future bunkers are a bit more resilient than Vault 33, where Lucy once resided."
Fallout is available to stream now on Prime Video.
