Family offers $10,000 reward for information about 2022 Augusta murder
The family of a 20-year-old killed last year at Club 706 in Augusta is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of his killer.
On Jan. 30, 2022, while attempting to leave leave Club 706 at about 2 a.m., Kevin Coatney Jr. was shot and killed in the parking lot, according to a news release.
Four people were shot at least once, but Coatney was the only fatality, according to an incident report.
Anyone with information concerning the case is asked to contact any on-duty investigator with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at 706-821-1020 or 706-821-1080. Anyone calling with information regarding this case can remain anonymous, if needed.
