Upon arrival, officers said a 43-year-old man was found lying in an apartment complex suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Witness and family members identified 33-year-old Warren Smith as the suspect in the case.

An investigation revealed the shooting was the result of an ongoing feud between Smith and his former brother-in-law, who lived in the same complex. Officers report that his former brother-in-law, who hasn’t been identified, walked across the parking lot and confronted Smith at his apartment.
