Lionsgate has released a first-look trailer for Cillian Murphy's new Ireland-based film.
The Oscar-winning actor stars in Small Things Like These, based on the bestselling short novel of the same name by Claire Keegan.

The trailer introduces Murphy as dad and coal merchant Bill Furlong, who questions the coming and goings of young girls at the Catholic convent close to his yard.
Viewers get a first look at Dunne and Watson, who play two formidable sisters at the convent, with the latter's character seen bribing Bill with a envelope addressed to his wife Eileen.
Grappling between what's right and wrong, the trailer concludes with Eileen in voiceover telling her husband: "If you want to get on in this life, there are things you have to ignore."
