Girl, 11, missing from Uniontown since Friday

UNIONTOWN, Ohio (WJW) — Uniontown police are asking the public to be on the lookout for an 11-year-old girl who left her home “by unknown means” on Friday.

Alexis Bartley, 11, is described as standing 5 feet tall, weighing 85 pounds and having strawberry-blonde hair and green eyes, according to a Saturday Facebook post from Uniontown Police Department.

Bartley left her home in the 3800 block of Sweitzer Avenue Northwest “by unknown means,” at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9, police said.

She was last seen wearing a white Nike T-shirt, black biking shorts and gray Puma shoes, according to the post.

Authorities noted that Bartley is in foster care with a family in a Uniontown area and that she may be in Akron or the surrounding area, where her biological family lives.

She has been entered as a missing child and a be-on-the-lookout alert has been issued. Child protective services has also been notified.
