Grey's Anatomy star Justin Chambers lands new TV role
Grey's Anatomy star Justin Chambers has joined the cast of FOX's anthology drama Accused.
The actor, who is best known for playing Dr Alex Karev in the medical drama, joins Orange Is The New Black star Taylor Schilling and Mayans MC's Danny Pino for season two of the show, Deadline reports.
The new cast additions join the likes of Felicity Huffman, William H Macy, Nick Cannon and Michael Chiklis for Accused season two, which will premiere this autumn.
Accused follows a different case each episode in which viewers are introduced to the accused without knowing their crime or why they're on trial, with the story unravelling across each episode.

It's based on Jimmy McGovern's BBC anthology series of the same name, which aired between 2010 and 2012.
Chambers will star alongside Schilling and Pino in 'April's Story', which features a nurse (played by Schilling) who commits a crime that could change the course of her life.
Chambers quit his role on Grey's Anatomy back in 2020 after being with the cast from day one. Elaborating on the future at the time, he told Page Six he said he was "open" to film roles, but was planning to focus on producing documentaries.
He continued: "Anywhere that you spend 15 years, it's a big chunk of your life... Grey's has been very supportive of me. I'm very grateful, and it's been a great ride."

Justin's one-time Grey's Anatomy co-star Kevin McKidd has also just landed a new TV role. The actor, who plays Dr Owen Hunt on the medical drama, will appear in a CBBC special based on Dame Jacqueline Wilson's novel The Primrose Railway Children.
The one-off drama is a modern retelling of the classic Railway Children where the Robinson family are uprooted from their lives to move to the Scottish Highlands.
McKidd praised the show's "brilliant" script, saying he feels it "captures the spirit and emotion of the original The Railway Children".
"I'm always so proud and happy to come home and work with the brilliant crews and talents that Scotland overflows with," he added.
"I can't wait to step into the character of 'Rob' and retell this reimagined British classic story alongside such an exciting cast. It will be a cinematic treat for the family."
Grey's Anatomy season 21 will air premiere on Thursday, September 26 at 10pm ET on ABC in the US. Previous seasons are streaming on Disney+ in the UK.
