Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop Is Now Selling Vitamins For Women
Following the release of its inaugural skin care line, Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle brand, Goop, launched Goop Wellness, a series of vitamin regimens, today. The collections are designed for women and their specific needs.
There are four lines in the initial launch, the Mother Load (aimed at post-natal depletion), Why Am I So Effing Tired? (for fighting fatigue), Balls in the Air (to help with overall wellness), and High School Genes (to aid metabolism). To create the supplement plans, Paltrow and the Goop team worked with doctors that fans of the brand may be familiar with, for example, functional medicine expert Amy Meyers, cardiologist Alejandro Junger MD — and more.
Balls in the Air, which is aimed at busy women who don’t have time to slow down, is packed with beta carotene, vitamin C, and vitamin E (we might need two doses of this one), while High School Genes is meant to spark the metabolism of peri and postmenopausal women with support for glucose, energy, and cellular health.
Do they work? The jury is out, until we see a full listing of active ingredients, but we have no doubt the lines will sell out just as quickly as the skin care line.
Each regime is available monthly for $90, or in a three-month program for $240, at Goop.com today.
