Hartselle Police arrest 1, obtain warrants for other suspects in retail theft investigation
HARTSELLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Hartselle Police say they arrested one and obtained warrants for other suspects following an investigation into multiple thefts at a retail businesses.
According to the Hartselle Police Department (HPD), 25-year-old Gabrielle Renae Massey of Falkville was arrested by investigators on Monday and charged with organized retail theft.

The department says it received a report that thefts occurred at a Hartselle retail business.
Investigators said they discovered suspects involved in the thefts worked together for several months to target the business and organize several thefts.
HPD said evidence revealed the suspects had selected merchandise several times that exceeded $1,000, and would leave the business without paying for the items.
Massey was booked into the Morgan County Jail, with a bond set at $5,000.
Officials say they have identified all other people involved within the organization and arrest warrants were obtained for their arrest for organized retail theft.
