One recent ranking gives the city the top spot on a list of the 50 best cities for doughnut lovers. It seems Worcester's per-capita standing — 22 shops per 100,000 residents — was enough to support the findings of the doughnut-ologists at rent.com, the property-leasing website that crafted the unscientific ranking.
